Meet Dr. Ryan Coon
Ryan Coon, NMD, RMSK is a naturopathic medical doctor licensed in Idaho, specializing in regenerative medicine and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound. His approach combines careful orthopedic evaluation with time to understand your concerns and goals.
Why this work became his focus
Dr. Coon’s experience with Lyme disease led him to naturopathic medicine and an approach that values the wholistic clinical picture. During medical school, he was drawn to regenerative medicine and the additional nonsurgical options it could offer people living with pain.
He began focused musculoskeletal ultrasound training alongside his regenerative medicine preceptorship and continued for about a year afterward, obtaining his RMSK credential.
Craftsmanship carried into medicine
Dr. Coon grew up in a large family in Upstate New York, with a strong connection to nature. He studied biochemistry and molecular biology and worked as a professional glass artist before entering medicine.
Glasswork taught him patience, precision, and respect for the details. He brings that same attention to anatomy, ultrasound, and hands-on care.
